I am thrilled to be welcoming you to the new home of Amanda Herring Designs! I am so pleased you are here. Let me take a minute to introduce myself and my business. I am a mother of 3, a boy (teenager) and twin girls (almost teenagers), wife to an amazing man (thinks he's a race car driver) and daughter of two wonderful parents (successful entrepreneurs). I am an idea person, I love to create, help others around me, take naps and eat chocolate. I also have an anxiety disorder and have struggled with mental illness most of my life.
I have been in business for 9 years, during which I have designed sewing patterns, fabric, scrapbook paper, jewelry, home decor items, and custom hand tuft rugs. I went to school in fashion design and interior design, and feel blessed to be able to use so many of the skills I learned in my education. The best education, however, has been experience and I am grateful for all of the many amazing opportunities I have had and for the people that have shared the ride.
What can you expect to find here? Sewing, design, creating, laughing, crying....you know...all the things. Thanks for being here.
