It’s always great to be invited to participate on a blog tour, it is hugely flattering and fun. It also helps a lot that I have Amber, my wonderful and trusty assistant who comes up with the most amazing things to make.
Side note: Sometimes I wonder if Amber and I are a bit like Wallace and Gromit, with me being more like Wallace and her more like Gromit.
She’s always willing to go along with my weird and outrageous schemes, but she keeps a level head and always pulls out something amazing!
Amber came up with the perfect project for Abbie. She made this wall hanging using this pattern by Kelby Sews. I think it perfectly matches the fabric, so full of love and fun.
Then, when I was upstairs in my daughters room, I saw her chalkboard wall, and I knew this wall hanging belonged there. How perfect! She had written “Do everything in LOVE”. Seriously, that was there when I got there to photograph it!
My daughter is pretty obsessed with sayings and such, so it doesn’t really surprise me, but I was super happy about it!
It’s a great reminder, and I think I will take it to heart. Our world could do with a lot more love.
